ENGLISH HOME

Brought to Argentina from France in the late 19th century, the Malbec grape has found a home in Argentina and become the country's signature varietal. In the Mendoza region, hot days, cool nights, high elevation, and irrigation from Andean melt waters make Malbec of superior character and quality. It's an intense, deeply-coloured wine, with rich and smooth tannins, and aromas and flavours of cherry, plum, coffee, chocolate, leather and raspberry. In recent decades, more traditional high quality varietals are also being produced at including Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, and Syrah.
